You already know we had to hit up the Greatest Homecoming On Earth (GHOE) at North Carolina A&T University! As the largest HBCU in the nation and a top producer of degrees for Black students in North Carolina, A&T always brings the energy. From its strong STEM programs to the legendary Blue & Gold Marching Machine, this Greensboro institution is famous for its incredible AGGIE PRIDE.
A&T: A Leader in Education and Enrollment
Founded in 1891, North Carolina A&T has a rich history and continues to break barriers. It recently made headlines for becoming the first HBCU to enroll over 15,000 students, solidifying its status as one of the most affordable and impactful universities in the state. Chancellor James R. Martin II highlighted the university’s commitment to preparing students for a rapidly changing world.
Chancellor Martin stated, βThe 2025-26 student body reaffirms our commitment to the people of North Carolina, our national appeal and impact as an exponential, doctoral research HBCU and the promise that North Carolina A&T holds for students around the world.β He emphasized guiding students toward lives of achievement and meaning in a world of seismic knowledge and technology shifts.
Celebrating Style and Spirit
With such a rich history and a forward-thinking approach, it’s no surprise that NC A&T’s homecoming is a major event. The campus buzzes with excitement, and the students truly shine. We’re talking about a gallery of aesthetically exceptional Aggies who brought their A-game to GHOE 2025.
From iconic alums like Jesse Jackson and Astronaut Ron McNair to the current student body, the spirit of achievement and style is palpable. Have you ever experienced the Greatest Homecoming On Earth? If so, tell us about it! If not, what are you waiting for?
