Hold up, internet! It seems the latest rumor about Ja Rule getting seriously beaten has been put to rest. After reports surfaced claiming the rapper was involved in a backstage scuffle and ended up “pretty phucking bad,” Ja Rule himself has stepped in to debunk the story with a cheerful video.
Setting the Record Straight
The buzz started when personality Tasha K reported that Ja Rule was jumped backstage at the Barclays Center while Brandy and Monica were performing. She further claimed the altercation took place outside a New York restaurant called Sei Less. However, Ja Rule, 49, is making it clear he wasn’t harmed in the slightest.
In a video shared by DJ Akademiks, Ja Rule is seen cheerfully sipping from a mug and laughing, showing no signs of injury. He also took to X (formerly Twitter) to directly address Tasha K, correcting her report. “Tasha why you lying to these good ppl. Yes some b*tch a*s n****s tried to jump me. No it wasn’t at sei less and I’m chilling smoking a joint watching SVP wit not a scratch on me…” he posted.
Location Mix-Up and Max B Denial
Tasha K acknowledged the location error, admitting she “heard you got your a$$ beat… ain’t nobody lie on you… this is why I thought it was Sei Less.. they ran down on you tho… Glad you ok!!” She included texts from a friend that seemed to cause her confusion about the venue.
Adding to the online chatter, some netizens falsely claimed that rapper Max B and his crew were responsible for the alleged attack. Max B quickly shut down these rumors via his social media, stating, “Don’t tie me or my people to anything negative. We grown we on positive vibes only.”
It appears the situation was a minor altercation that Ja Rule was able to handle without injury, despite the sensationalized reports. His cheerful video serves as a clear message that he’s doing just fine.
