Ever dealt with a toddler who just *really* doesn’t want to do something? Khloé Kardashian recently shared a hilarious, albeit chaotic, story about her youngest son, Tatum, experiencing a major meltdown at a graduation party. It turns out, when Tatum doesn’t want to participate, he makes sure everyone knows it!
Tatum’s ‘Tasmanian Tantrum’
On the May 20 episode of her podcast, ‘Khloé In Wonder Land,’ the reality star recounted the events of a weekend prior. Her best friend, Malika Haqq, was hosting a graduation party for her son, Ace Flores (who is 5 years old), and Khloé brought along her children, Tatum (3) and True (8), along with nieces Dream and Chicago and nephew Psalm.
From the moment they arrived, Tatum made it clear he wasn’t thrilled about being there. Khloé explained that despite having fun earlier with coloring and games, Tatum declared, ‘I’m going to make such a big mess.’ Initially, Khloé thought it was just an expression of his feelings, but then Tatum lived up to his word.
A Party Disaster, According to Tatum
Khloé described Tatum as a ‘Tasmanian Devil,’ tornadoing through the party. He deliberately knocked over a balloon garland and proceeded to destroy everything within his reach. While Khloé was initially mortified, she admitted that looking back, it was actually quite funny to witness his dramatic reaction.
She mentioned that Tatum, being a Leo, has a strong personality and knows exactly what he wants (or doesn’t want!). This particular incident was a prime example of his toddler determination, especially when he feels something isn’t going his way.
True Steps Up as a Big Sister
Amidst the chaos, Khloé highlighted the sweet role her daughter, True, plays. She explained that True, who is older and more mature, often steps in to help calm her younger brother down. This shows True’s growing sense of responsibility and her loving bond with Tatum.
Khloé shares both Tatum and True with NBA player Tristan Thompson. This story offers a relatable glimpse into the challenges and humor of raising young children, even for a famous family.
