Cam’ron Celebrates Stefon Diggs’ Not Guilty Verdict

Rapper and media personality Cam’ron has weighed in on the recent legal news surrounding NFL star Stefon Diggs. After Diggs was found not guilty of misdemeanor assault and felony strangulation charges, Cam’ron took to his talk show, ‘It Is What It Is,’ to celebrate the verdict with his signature catchphrase.

Celebrating the Verdict

The case stemmed from accusations made by Diggs’ former chef, Jamila Adams, who claimed to have been assaulted and involved in a sexual relationship with the NFL player. The internet buzzed with reactions, and Cam’ron was quick to add his voice to the conversation. Despite admitting he didn’t know all the trial’s details, Cam declared ‘City Boys up 200’ upon hearing the outcome.

He offered congratulations to Stefon Diggs, expressing happiness that he wasn’t found guilty, especially noting the existence of ‘footage and proof’ that seemed to support Diggs’ case. Cam’ron emphasized that he wasn’t trying to be insensitive to Adams but, based on the clips he saw, his takeaway was that ‘city boys up 200.’

A Nod to Cardi B and ‘City Girls’

Cam’ron also playfully addressed the ‘City Girls’ (Yung Miami and JT), apologizing if they felt misled by his ‘City Boys up’ declaration, given the context of the case. He then pivoted to a humorous take, joking about Cardi B, who shares a child with Stefon Diggs. Cam’ron suggested Adams might have been upset that Diggs didn’t pursue a relationship with her.

I don’t want to fuck you no more, just be my chef… Yo, and handle all these bitches that’s going to be coming through… And yo, Cardi coming over. You know what she like? Taco Tuesday, n***a. — Cam’ron

The rapper’s commentary, as usual, blended sports commentary with his unique brand of humor and cultural observations. The full segment discussing the Stefon Diggs verdict can be found around the 25-minute mark in the latest episode of ‘It Is What It Is.’
