Druski to Host 2026 BET Awards!

Get ready for some laughs and maybe a little bit of chaos! Internet comedy superstar Druski has officially been tapped to host the highly anticipated 2026 BET Awards. This is a massive moment for the comedian, who is stepping onto one of the biggest stages in entertainment.

A Record-Breaking Hosting Gig

The BET Awards 2026 ceremony is set to air live on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and Druski is making history. He’s officially the youngest host ever for the BET Awards! He’s breaking the previous record held by none other than Kevin Hart. Talk about following in big footsteps!

Druski expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s an honor to be the youngest host ever for the BET Awards. I grew up watching the BET Awards and, to know the comedic legends that hosted before me set the bar so high, I’m just grateful to be a part of the history.”

Bringing His Signature Style

But don’t expect him to just play it safe! Druski made it clear he’s bringing his signature brand of comedy to the stage. “I’m still bringing my brand of comedy to the stage, so expect a little chaos, a lot of laughs, and some of your favorite Druski characters to pop out along the way,” he promised. BET leadership seems to be fully embracing this unpredictable energy.

Connie Orlando, EVP of Specials, Music Programming and Music Strategy at BET, noted that Druski will “bring his signature energy and perspective to the stage.” She highlighted his ability to connect with audiences through humor that feels both current and deeply rooted in culture. BET President Louis Carr added that this partnership reflects a commitment to uplifting the new generation of comedians.

Wider Reach for the 2026 Show

Adding to the excitement, the 2026 show will have an expanded reach, airing across multiple networks including BET, MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central. This means even more people will get to experience Druski’s hosting debut and the unique vibe he’s sure to bring.
