It seems the feud between boxer Claressa Shields and rapper Remy Ma is far from over. Just weeks after Remy dropped her scathing diss track “W.Y.F.L.,” Shields took to a recent live stream with a bold message that many fans believe is directed squarely at the femcee.
A Direct Message to Haters
In a clip shared by Live Bitez, Shields directly addressed those who seem to have an issue with her. “You don’t like me, and what are you going to do about it?” she asked the camera. “You’re not going to do anything. You’re not going to do sh*t. All that mumbo jumbo, all that talking, all that tweeting. […] Just move on.”
She continued, emphasizing her own status: “Listen, anyone who’s making videos about little old me, excuse me, big ol’ GWOAT, your life is not all the way together, honey.” The “GWOAT” moniker, standing for “Greatest Woman of All Time,” clearly shows Shields’ confidence in her position.
The Diss Track and Its Fallout
Remy Ma’s song “W.Y.F.L.” appears to take shots at both her ex-husband Papoose and Shields, with lyrics like, “In competition with herself, I don’t know that b*tch / H*es be doing the most over so-so d*ck.” The track also touches on accusations of ghostwriting, seemingly aimed at Shields’ career.
The beef between Shields and Remy Ma dates back to 2024, stemming from accusations of infidelity involving Papoose. While Shields and Papoose appear to be going strong, the tension with Remy Ma has clearly persisted.
More Than Just Remy Ma
It’s worth noting that Shields is also currently in a public dispute with 50 Cent, who has been trolling her online. She even threatened legal action against him in March after he accused her of cheating on Papoose with Maserati Bud. This latest exchange with Remy Ma adds another layer to Shields’ ongoing public battles.
