Get ready for another dose of fire from your favorite rap duo! Latto and GloRilla have joined forces once again for Latto’s latest single, “GOMF” (an acronym for “Get Out My Face”). This high-octane anthem is designed to silence critics and set the stage for what’s shaping up to be Latto’s most impactful year yet.
Nostalgic Beats and Shade-Throwing Verses
From the jump, “GOMF” taps into a nostalgic vibe by sampling Soulja Boy’s iconic 2007 hit, “Yahhh!”. The track even features a cameo from Soulja Boy himself in the music video, adding an extra layer of throwback energy. The visuals perfectly capture the chemistry between Latto and GloRilla as they pay homage to the classic track.
Latto, embracing her “Big Mama” persona during her pregnancy, sports a “Big Mama, One Kid” tracksuit – a nod to her verse on Summer Walker’s late 2025 track “Go Girl.” Meanwhile, GloRilla takes on the role of playful security, tackling paparazzi outside Latto’s home, reinforcing the song’s theme of protecting one’s peace from public scrutiny.
Addressing Rumors and Flexing Success
Both artists use their verses to address the rumors that have been swirling online. Latto fires back at those questioning her Atlanta roots and relationship status, rapping, “Get off my jock, b***h, you know how I rock, b***h / Body and the face tea, ain’t nothin’ else to clock, b***h.” She also subtly references the father of her child, noting he’s a “baller” even if not a basketball player.
GloRilla’s verse is equally sharp, flexing her high-profile relationship with NBA star Brandon Ingram, whom she confirmed she’s official with since September 2025. She raps, “WAG-in’ in high fashion, different brackets, y’all can keep the rappers… Told Brandon I’ma have his son next time he leave it in.” GloRilla also playfully addresses claims about her net worth and plastic surgery, while sending pointed shots at her sister, Victoria “Scarface” Woods, referencing their family feud and her sexuality with lyrics like, “You ain’t s*** but a freaky stud that’s laced.”
Building Momentum for ‘Big Mama’
“GOMF” follows previous successful singles like “Somebody” and “Business and Personal (Intro),” building anticipation for Latto’s fourth studio album, “Big Mama,” set to release on May 29th. With production from Pooh Beatz and Coupe, the track embodies the “Big Mama” persona Latto has embraced during her pregnancy.
This collaboration marks another win for Latto and GloRilla, who previously worked together on GloRilla’s debut album track “Procedure.” Latto’s ability to blend maternal themes with assertive, score-settling lyrics has made this era a major talking point in hip-hop this year.
