Desiigner’s Disturbing 911 Call: Suicidal Remarks Amid Arrest

This is a tough one. Rapper Desiigner, known for his hit song ‘Panda,’ was arrested last month, but new details emerging from a 911 call paint a deeply concerning picture of the events leading up to it. The audio reveals a frightening exchange that includes disturbing threats and Desiigner admitting he is feeling suicidal.

A Disturbing 911 Exchange

According to reports from TMZ and XXL, the call placed on March 24th involved an argument between Desiigner and the mother of his child. The situation escalated quickly, with Desiigner making alarming statements like, ‘You dying, for sure,’ and telling her to ‘choke yourself and kill yourself.’ The 911 dispatcher attempted to intervene and speak with Desiigner directly.

Once connected with the dispatcher, Desiigner alleged that the woman had been trying to fight him and take their child. He also suggested she might have tampered with his marijuana. The situation took a more personal and troubling turn when he pleaded for help, stating, ‘She won’t leave me alone. I’m suicidal now.’

Arrest and Domestic Violence Charges

Following this distressing 911 call, Desiigner was arrested by the Horry County Police Department on domestic violence charges. He is accused of pushing the woman to the ground and ripping her clothing while she was attempting to leave the residence with their child.

The rapper posted a $1,500 bond later that day and was released. As of now, Desiigner has not publicly commented on the 911 audio or the charges since they surfaced.

A History of Personal Struggles

This incident adds to what has been a challenging period for the former G.O.O.D. Music artist. His mugshot, which circulated online after the initial arrest, showed him looking visibly disheartened. This follows a 2023 arrest for indecent exposure on a plane, an incident that prompted him to speak openly about his mental health.

Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If you’re not feeling like yourself, please get help. — Desiigner (following 2023 indecent exposure arrest)

At that time, he admitted himself to a facility, canceled his shows, and urged others to seek help if they were struggling. The recent 911 call and arrest unfortunately suggest that these personal battles may still be ongoing.
