After months of navigating a challenging period, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have officially settled their divorce and custody battle. The reality TV stars have reached a comprehensive agreement that will guide their co-parenting journey moving forward.
Joint Custody Agreement Reached
According to court documents signed on March 24, the former couple will share joint legal and physical custody of their two children. This agreement emphasizes the importance of communication and joint decision-making regarding their children’s well-being, covering crucial aspects like health, education, and general welfare.
The agreement also sets clear guidelines for handling disagreements. Kandi will have the final say on non-emergency healthcare and educational matters, while Todd will make the decisions regarding new extracurricular activities. Both parents must also secure written consent before involving their children in any public-facing activities, including media projects, commercial opportunities, or brand partnerships.
Financial and Property Settlements
In terms of financial settlements, Todd will receive a lump-sum payment of $426,000, a figure significantly lower than earlier reports suggested. Kandi will retain ownership of their shared home, and Todd has agreed to vacate the premises within 15 days. Notably, neither child support nor spousal support has been awarded in the agreement.
The division of assets also includes a substantial collection of vehicles. Kandi will keep her Bentley SUV, Cadillac Escalade, Ford F-250, Porsche Cayenne SUV, and a classic 1963 Chevrolet Camaro. Todd will take possession of a 2020 Mercedes G-Wagon, a 2020 Porsche 911, a 2023 Range Rover, a 1973 Ford Bronco, a 1963 Lincoln, and a Ford Transit Van.
Moving Forward with Co-Parenting
Kandi Burruss first confirmed their separation in November 2025, after 11 years of marriage. At the time, she expressed her commitment to protecting her peace, focusing on motherhood, and co-parenting with love and respect. She spoke of stepping into a “new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth.”
Reflecting on the turning point in their relationship earlier this year, Kandi mentioned that the decision was made in July, stating, “Oh, yeah. No, I can’t do this no more.” Despite the end of their marriage, she emphasized their commitment to co-parenting, a sentiment now solidified by their formal agreement.
