The Real Housewives of New Jersey is gearing up for its 15th season, and it seems not everyone is entirely on board with the network’s decisions. Dorinda Medley, a familiar face from the Real Housewives universe, is raising some eyebrows with her recent comments about the show’s hiatus and its returning cast.
Questioning the Hiatus
On her SiriusXM show, Medley didn’t hold back when discussing the news that Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania are set to return. “This is the same people they left with,” she pointed out, questioning the necessity of the show going off air in the first place. “Why’d they go off air … all this to just come back with the same?”
Despite her questioning of the show’s strategy, Medley did offer praise for the returning trio. “Teresa, Dolores, and Melissa. Wow, that’s amazing,” she exclaimed, acknowledging their strength as individuals. “Those are three strong women.”
Cast Changes and a Truce
The upcoming season will see significant cast changes, with Margaret Josephs, Jen Fessler, Jackie Goldschneider, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, and Jenn Fessler all departing. Margaret Josephs confirmed her exit, stating she is “moving on” after much consideration.
Meanwhile, Melissa Gorga expressed her excitement for the new season, exclaiming, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey is back, baby. Let’s go! Jersey is in the house.” This comes after a recent reconciliation between Melissa and Teresa, a truce that fans are eager to see unfold on camera and are curious about its longevity.
What’s Next for RHONJ?
Bravo has yet to reveal the full cast lineup for Season 15, leaving fans to speculate about who will join the returning housewives. Medley’s comments highlight the ongoing buzz and differing opinions surrounding the show’s direction and casting choices.
It’s clear that the Real Housewives franchise continues to generate plenty of discussion, and Dorinda Medley’s insights add another layer to the anticipation for the new season of RHONJ.
