This moment came after Ray J went viral for ranting about a supposed beef between his sister Brandy and Beyoncé.

In front of a packed crowd in Atlanta, Monica addressed Ray J, who was in the audience. “Before we leave here, I am going to take Ray J’s phone,” she announced, before calling him up and saying, “Ray J, give me the phone… give me the phone, Ray.” After securing the device, she playfully put him on blast, calling him “brother” and emphasizing their close bond, much to Brandy’s amusement.

This onstage intervention followed Ray J’s Instagram video where he criticized Jay-Z and Beyoncé for not acknowledging Brandy backstage at the tour shows. He claimed they were snubbing his sister while making time for Monica. “Come on, say what’s up to Brandy. JAY-Z and Beyoncé, for y’all to come to every show and not speak to B, I don’t like that,” he stated in the clip.

Adding to the drama, some fans suspect Ray J was behind shady comments made from Brandy’s Instagram account, seemingly throwing shade at Beyoncé. This alleged online instigation has fans accusing him of trying to distract from his recent domestic violence arrest.
