The ongoing revelations surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs continue to unfold, and a new bombshell has dropped from a key figure in Bad Boy Entertainment’s early days. Kirk Burrowes, who helped establish the iconic label with Diddy in 1993, is now alleging that he was subjected to both professional and sexual abuse by Combs.
A Co-Founder’s Shocking Accusations
These disturbing claims are coming to light in the fourth episode of the Netflix docuseries, “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” titled “Blink Again.” Burrowes doesn’t mince words, stating, “I’m also a victim on multiple levels with Sean Diddy Combs.” He explains that the issues he faced went far beyond typical employer-employee friction.
When pressed off-camera about the nature of this abuse, Burrowes chillingly responded, “Sexually deviant ways.” He further emphasized his lack of consent, stating, “I did not want to do it. I didn’t want to be around him and take care of him as he is SA-ing me and others.” This points to a deeply troubling pattern of alleged misconduct.
Business Disputes and Past Allegations
The docuseries also revisits the contentious fallout from Burrowes’ departure from Bad Boy. He claims he once held a 25% stake in the company and was instrumental during its formative years. After his firing, Burrowes pursued legal action to reclaim the value of his shares.
Archival footage within the episode touches upon earlier accusations that Diddy withheld millions from Burrowes and allegedly even ordered violent acts. Notably, it mentions an unproven claim linking Diddy to the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, a connection for which no evidence has ever surfaced. Burrowes’ initial lawsuit was dismissed due to the age of the allegations, and subsequent legal attempts also failed.
A Renewed Legal Battle
Despite past dismissals, Burrowes filed a fresh lawsuit earlier this year, reigniting these serious claims. The tweet embedded above highlights a bombshell filing where Burrowes is suing Sean Combs for years of alleged abuse, also touching upon Diddy’s alleged connection to Tupac’s shooting and the exploitation of The Notorious B.I.G.
These allegations paint a grim picture of the early days at Bad Boy and raise profound questions about power, abuse, and accountability within the music industry.
