Daphne Joy has broken her silence following the emergence of an alleged sex tape reportedly involving her, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and adult actor Sly Digger. The model took to her Instagram Story to share a powerful, albeit brief, statement about the deeply traumatic experience.
A Traumatic Experience and Claims of Non-Consent
In her statement, which was later deleted, Daphne described the situation as a “deeply traumatic” chapter, asserting that she was recorded without her consent during her relationship with Combs. She reflected on ignoring her own boundaries in an effort to please him, realizing in hindsight that the relationship was “far from love.”
Joy’s primary assertion is that she never agreed to be filmed. She claims the footage was later sold to a media outlet as part of an extortion scheme. The media outlet reportedly declined to publish the tape after determining it was connected to revenge porn and extortion, a revelation that reportedly caused Joy to faint for the first time in her life.
50 Cent’s Reaction and Comments
The alleged tape has also drawn commentary from 50 Cent, Daphne Joy’s ex-partner and the father of their son, Sire Jackson. Over the weekend, 50 Cent posted on social media, suggesting the situation would be difficult for their son to witness. He also took shots at Diddy, controversially stating, “She’s not a victim, SIRE is… Free Diddy he has gone through enough being born with no penis. LOL.”
Reports indicate the video is approximately 40 minutes long and was widely shared on social media, allegedly showing Combs present while Joy engaged in sexual acts with others. Daphne concluded her statement with a powerful affirmation: “I am precious, I am special, I am worthy. This is the first time that I have ever felt a part of my own body and that my body belongs to me.”
