A new video circulating online provides a rare look at entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs since his incarceration. The footage, obtained by TMZ, shows Combs in prison attire, sporting a full head of grey hair, and engaged in work assignments at the Fort Dix federal facility in New Jersey.
A Glimpse Inside Fort Dix
The silent video captures Combs walking down a hallway in a grey prison uniform and a brown knit cap. One scene shows him leaving a work assignment, reportedly in the prison’s media library where he distributes movies and religious materials. In another part of the clip, he’s seen holding what appears to be a DVD case and stops to briefly converse with another inmate.
The visual evidence of his grey hair and beard is noticeable, offering a stark contrast to his public image. Combs has been housed at Fort Dix since October 30th, following over a year at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He was arrested in September 2024.
Conviction and Sentencing Details
Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of transporting individuals to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act in July. His expected release date is May 28, 2028, though this could be sooner if he successfully completes a drug treatment program offered at the facility.
Hopes for an Early Release?
Adding a layer of speculation, Combs’s son, King Combs, recently hinted at the possibility of his father returning home sooner than expected. When approached by media at LAX, King Combs suggested, “Watch out, he might come home before then,” when asked about his father spending the holidays with family. He offered a smile and a gesture when questioned about a potential pardon or contact from the White House.
