Rapper’s Brother FBG Casino Arrested in Major Fentanyl Bust

Talk about a major bust! Federal agents in Georgia have just taken down what they’re calling one of the biggest fentanyl seizures in the state’s history. And guess who’s at the center of it all? FBG Casino, the brother of rapper Future, is now facing some serious federal charges related to a massive drug operation.

The Raid Uncovers a Drug Operation

It all went down on Friday, November 14th, when a joint FBI and DEA task force raided an Airbnb in Forest Park, Georgia. Inside, they found FBG Casino, whose real name is Rico Deville Buice, along with another individual, David Estevan Montillo Diaz. Reports say Buice tried to make a quick exit through a side door, but agents were too fast and apprehended him before he could escape.

What they discovered inside that rental property was staggering. Agents uncovered a massive haul of 21 kilograms of fentanyl. To give you an idea of how serious this is, at least one brick of the drug was found with a distinctive Louis Vuitton logo on its packaging.

Cash and Luxury Goods Found

But the fentanyl wasn’t the only thing found. Agents also discovered a substantial amount of cash: a whopping $300,000 in a cardboard box and another $80,000 stuffed into a Goyard bag. Investigators believe this bag is linked to Buice, as it appears to match one he’s shown off on his Instagram page. He was also found with $4,000 in cash on his person at the time of his arrest.

Authorities are piecing together the evidence, suggesting that a drug transaction was actively taking place inside the Airbnb when the task force arrived. Prosecutors believe Diaz was in the process of selling the fentanyl to Buice.

Law Enforcement Hails the Bust as a Major Win

This bust is being celebrated by law enforcement as a significant victory against drug trafficking. Paul Brown, Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta, stated, “This operation is an example of the power of the Task Force in disrupting deadly drug trafficking operations.” He emphasized that seizing this much fentanyl and cash is a direct blow to those poisoning communities and vowed that the FBI and its partners will continue to pursue such criminals relentlessly.

Prosecutors Push for Detention

Given the severity of the charges, prosecutors are pushing to keep FBG Casino, Rico Deville Buice, in custody without bond. The conspiracy charge alone could land him in prison for life. They also argue there’s a significant risk he might try to flee, especially considering his alleged financial discrepancies. Prosecutors pointed out his claim of earning just over $2,000 a month as a studio manager, which seems wildly out of sync with his lifestyle, including owning luxury cars and residing in a multi-million dollar home.

The Case Continues to Develop

This case is still very much developing, and Buice will remain in custody as the investigation progresses. The sheer scale of the fentanyl seizure marks a critical moment in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking operations in the region. It’s a stark reminder of the challenges law enforcement faces in keeping our communities safe from dangerous substances like fentanyl.
