Diddy Caught With Homemade Alcohol in Prison

Just weeks after making a public declaration of sobriety and requesting placement in a drug abuse program for early release, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has reportedly been caught with homemade alcohol in prison. The incident allegedly occurred at Fort Dix, the low-security facility where his legal team requested he serve his sentence.

A Contradiction to Sobriety Claims

According to reports from TMZ, prison officials discovered the illicit concoction within Diddy’s unit at Fort Dix. This discovery directly contradicts his statements made during his sentencing on October 3rd, where he told Judge Arun Subramanian that he had been sober for the first time in 25 years. He even wrote to the judge, stating, β€œThe old me died in jail and a new version of me was reborn.”

The homemade alcohol was reportedly made from a mixture of Fanta soda, sugar, and apples, allowed to ferment over approximately two weeks. This incident raises serious questions about his commitment to rehabilitation and the effectiveness of the prison’s oversight.

The Plea for a Drug Program

Diddy was sentenced to 50 months (just over 4 years) in prison for two counts of violating the Mann Act, related to transportation for prostitution. His legal team had strategically requested he serve his time at Fort Dix, specifically within its Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP). The goal was to potentially shorten his sentence to around February 2027, contingent on successful program completion.

The RDAP program was presented as a way for Diddy to “address drug abuse issues” and “maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts.” The hope was that completing this program would lead to an earlier release date, but this recent report may jeopardize those plans.

Consequences and Reversals

Following the discovery, prison officials initially considered moving Diddy to a different unit. However, sources later indicated that this decision was reversed, and he will reportedly remain in his current unit. The full repercussions of this incident are yet to be determined, but it certainly casts a shadow over his claims of newfound sobriety and rehabilitation efforts.

This situation adds another layer of complexity to Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles, highlighting the challenges of maintaining a clean slate while navigating the justice system. His claims of transformation behind bars are now being scrutinized in light of this reported infraction.
