Finesse2Tymes Arrested Again in Texas

It seems rapper Finesse2Tymes is facing another legal hurdle. The Memphis native was arrested in Texas on Monday, October 20th, facing multiple drug possession charges. This latest arrest comes just a month after a previous one involving similar allegations.

Eight Charges in Harrison County

According to jail records, the 33-year-old artist, whose real name is Ricky Leshay Hampton, was booked on a total of eight charges. These include marijuana possession, tampering with physical evidence with the intent to impair, and possession of controlled substances. While specific details surrounding the arrest haven’t been widely released, Hampton is currently being held at Harrison County Jail.

This isn’t the first time this year Hampton has had a run-in with the law. Just last month, he was arrested alongside FNG Shugga, the mother of his child, on drug and gun possession charges. They both made bail shortly after that incident, which occurred after a concert in Tyler, Texas.

A Pattern of Legal Issues

Before these recent arrests, Hampton had also turned himself in on probation violation charges. Prior to that, in October 2024, he was accused of sending terroristic threats to the guardian of his former protégé, FNG King. His legal troubles stretch back even further, with a significant history dating back to 2010.

That year, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for two felony counts of aggravated robbery. After serving six years, he was released in 2016. However, in 2018, he received a five-year sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and was released from federal custody in 2022.
