NLE Choppa Responds to Jonathan Majors’ Bible Comments

In an unexpected turn of events, rapper NLE Choppa and actor Jonathan Majors found themselves in a public exchange after Majors questioned Choppa’s comprehension of the Bible during a discussion on Christianity. The interaction, which occurred during a Den of Kings roundtable, quickly gained traction online, prompting a response from the Memphis rapper.

Clash Over Religious Interpretation

During the conversation, Choppa expressed his issues with religion, arguing that many Christians focus too heavily on Jesus rather than God. He stated, “We are made in the likeness of Jesus Christ,” questioning why people “praise their brother instead of their father.” Majors interjected, asking Choppa if he had read the Bible. When Choppa replied that he had “read it, listened to it, and received from source,” Majors advised him to “read it again.” This comment was met with uncomfortable laughter from Choppa.

Following the viral clip, Choppa took to Instagram to address the situation. He posted a series of images, including Bible verses, a photo of himself praying, and a behind-the-scenes shot of Majors speaking passionately. Choppa captioned one of the posts with “READ IT AGAIN,” directly referencing Majors’ comment. He also shared a photo of Majors looking distressed while talking, adding the caption, “The eyes. They never lie Chico 😼.” Choppa later deleted these posts, leaving the status of their interaction unclear.

Public Reaction and Unlikely Rivalry

The unexpected exchange between the rapper and the actor has sparked considerable discussion online. While the exact nature of their current relationship remains unknown, the incident has highlighted differing perspectives on faith and religious texts. It remains to be seen whether this interaction will lead to further public commentary or if the matter will be left unresolved.
