Kevin Federline is stirring up controversy again with claims made in his upcoming memoir. The book, set to be released on October 21, reportedly includes startling allegations about his ex-wife, pop superstar Britney Spears, and her behavior around their sons.

Shocking Claims in New Memoir

According to The New York Times, Federline writes that Spears would sometimes stand silently by their sons’ doors at night, watching them sleep, with a knife in her hand. “They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway watching them sleep — ’Oh, you’re awake?’ — with a knife in her hand,” the memoir reportedly states.

Federline, who was married to Spears from 2004 to 2007 and shares two sons with her, Sean Preston (now 20) and Jayden James (now 19), also claims that Britney’s nude social media posts have deeply upset their boys.

Federline’s Perspective on the Impact

He expressed the difficulty of witnessing the situation unfold. “This whole thing has been hard to watch, harder to live through, harder to watch my boys go through than anything else,” Federline wrote. “It’s been tough. It’s the most challenging thing I’ve ever had to do in my life.”

Federline shared his attempts to explain Spears’ actions to their teenage sons: “I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’ But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough,” he continued. “I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”

A representative for Britney Spears has strongly criticized the upcoming book. In a statement to US Weekly, the rep slammed Federline’s decision to profit from Spears’ life, especially after child support payments have ended. “With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” the statement reads.

The rep emphasized Spears’ priorities: “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism.”

Federline has reportedly disabled comments on his Instagram page, likely in anticipation of the backlash from these revelations. The memoir promises to shed more light on his perspective of their highly publicized past.
