Get ready to sip, swirl, and celebrate! The Fine Wine Festival is marking its 10th anniversary with a spectacular event at Citi Field in New York City on September 6th. This year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience, blending fine wine, live music, and a celebration of Black and women-owned excellence.
A Decade of Wine, Music, and Culture
From its beginnings as a cultural tasting event, the Fine Wine Festival has evolved into a premier lifestyle experience. This milestone year, in partnership with Live Nation Urban, will feature its first-ever musical guest: the Grammy-award-winning producer and hip-hop tastemaker, Jermaine Dupri. Attendees can expect a high-energy performance that perfectly complements the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
More than just a wine tasting, the festival will host over 5,000 guests in a space where elegance meets energy. The event will showcase unlimited pours from Black- and women-owned vineyards, internationally recognized wineries, and chef-crafted culinary pairings. A soundtrack provided by top-tier DJs and surprise performances will keep the energy high throughout the day.
Celebrating Purpose and Pouring Progress
Honoring this year’s dress code of “Timeless Elegance,” attendees are encouraged to don soft creams, delicate blush tones, and refined styles, ensuring every pour pairs perfectly with every pose. The festival aims to create a sophisticated yet energetic environment for all guests.
Beyond the festivities, the Fine Wine Festival remains deeply committed to its mission of amplifying the voices and vintages of Black and women winemakers. In an industry where representation is still imbalanced—with less than 1% of winery owners identifying as Black and women making up only 14% of winemakers—this festival provides a crucial platform. “Our vision for the next decade is to continue breaking barriers and expanding opportunities, creating a global platform where Black- and women-owned brands can not only enter the space, but lead it,” said co-founder Dozie Osondu.
For those looking for an elevated experience, the Grand Cru Access VIP package ($350) offers exceptional value, including early entry, curated tastings, exclusive lounges, premium bars, gourmet bites, concierge support, limited-edition merch credit, and a founder-led tasting. Tickets are on sale now and are expected to sell out quickly. Join the celebration and toast to the future of wine at the Fine Wine Festival!
