T-Hood’s family, including his mother, sisters Maysia Bandy and Jayda Bandy, and his daughter’s mother, Ebony Jai, allege that Kelsie Frost set the rapper up. They claim that following an alleged domestic violence dispute, Frost called her brothers, Ky Frost and Kirk Frost Jr., with the family accusing Ky of being the shooter. An incident report obtained by TMZ identified Ky Lasheed Frost as the primary suspect, though he has reportedly been released from custody.

Adding another layer to the controversy, Kelsie Frost’s friend, Ciara Martina, recently released surveillance footage and graphic images allegedly showing T-Hood abusing Frost. Martina stated she had remained silent for too long and felt compelled to speak out against the public narrative painting Frost as a villain, asserting that both individuals were in a toxic relationship.

Family Demands Proof and Context

T-Hood’s family has strongly reacted to the released footage, demanding proof of dates and times for the alleged abuse videos. Jayda Bandy, T-Hood’s sister, questioned the timing and context of the videos, pointing out inconsistencies and asking why Frost didn’t call the police if she was genuinely concerned about her friend’s safety. She also raised questions about Frost’s actions after the alleged abuse, stating that she stayed with T-Hood and questioning her ability to pass a drug test.

The police are investigating the murder as a possible self-defense shooting, a decision that T-Hood’s mother has publicly condemned, stating he was walking away when he was shot multiple times in the back.
