As the co-owner of Gymnetics Fitness, a studio she founded with her daughter Lana Ector, she’s built a business on the principle that fitness should be ingrained in our lives. Gymnetics offers personalized nutrition, custom weight-loss programs, and tailored workouts for everyone, regardless of their fitness level.

    With over 25 years of combined experience and more than eight different fitness regimes, Ector and her daughter provide expert guidance. Ector herself leads popular classes like “Baddie Pump,” focusing on core strength and weightlifting, alongside a variety of engaging group workouts. She also co-created the “Black Girls Workout Too” DVD, complete with a healthy meal plan.

Ector focuses on upper body strength training, especially her shoulders, believing that strong shoulders project confidence.
