  • Dr. Cheyenne Bryant Addresses Doctorate Degree Doubts

The internet has been abuzz with questions surrounding Dr. Cheyenne Bryant’s doctorate degree, but she’s making it clear: she’s unbothered and has no intention of proving anything to anyone. In a recent appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Bryant addressed the skepticism head-on, stating her priorities lie elsewhere.

    Faith Over Public Opinion

When asked by radio host Loren LoRosa about the online accusations labeling her a “fraud” and “scammer” due to alleged missing dissertation records, Bryant responded with a powerful declaration: “I have multiple degrees, and I’m not going to prove anything to anybody. My obedience is to God, not to people.”

Bryant explained that she earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University while it was still accredited. However, when she later sought official transcripts for law school, she discovered the university had closed, and the third-party record holder only kept them for two years – a deadline she unfortunately missed.

    Navigating Record Retrieval Challenges

She detailed her attempts to access records, including contacting financial aid, which confirmed she paid for the doctoral program. Despite the inability to retrieve official transcripts due to the missed deadline, Bryant mentioned she was able to download portions of her academic records, including her dissertation, from the student portal. She noted that other former Argosy students faced similar issues.

Bryant also pointed out that a doctorate in counseling psychology isn’t a prerequisite for becoming a licensed therapist. She highlighted that her Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, & Child Therapy, combined with her extensive clinical experience, provides the necessary foundation for licensure.

    Experience as the Ultimate Proof

Beyond academic credentials, Bryant emphasized that her effectiveness speaks for itself. She cited her highly visible sessions with celebrities like Nick Cannon, Cam Newton, and B. Simone as proof of her impact. “My proof isn’t something that I have to approve to individuals. My proof is already within my credentials, my degrees, and also more than just my titles, it’s in how effective I’ve been,” she stated.

She firmly believes her work and the results she achieves with clients validate her title as “Doctor.” Bryant also pushed back against claims that her success is solely due to “pretty privilege” or internet fame, sharing her personal journey from the inner city, driven by determination and a desire to help others heal from trauma.

Listen, I don’t give a f–k what your narrative is. I would like you to recreate it, double down on it and run that sh–t, because I don’t give a f–k about it. — Dr. Cheyenne Bryant

While some social media users remain unconvinced, others defend Bryant, pointing to her Master’s degree and years of experience as sufficient. The debate highlights a broader conversation about credentials, public perception, and the definition of expertise in the digital age.

Hold up, did you hear? Comedian Katt Williams has officially joined the ranks of scholars! He was recently awarded an honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from Miles College, making him ‘Dr. Williams’ from now on. This incredible honor was bestowed upon him at a ceremony in Alabama on October 18th.

    A Well-Deserved Recognition

During his acceptance speech, Williams expressed his gratitude, stating, “In a very short period of time, no one could deserve this more than me. It was going to take a mighty fine institution to recognize that.” He also touched on how the joy he brings to his audience is intertwined with the college’s name, saying, “those smiles that I sell for a living — those have Miles right in the middle of it.”

This recognition comes at an exciting time for Williams, who is also making significant moves in Alabama. He’s in the process of building his own film studio in Anniston, aiming to create opportunities for aspiring filmmakers and creatives.

    Partnership with Miles College

Williams’ new film studio venture is set to involve a collaboration with Miles College. Chuck Faush, the college’s chief innovation and growth officer, highlighted how this partnership aligns with President Knight’s vision to integrate AI across the institution. “Specifically, aligning with his studio development and plan in Anniston creates career ladders and provides real-world learning for our student entrepreneurs,” Faush explained.

This initiative promises to offer invaluable hands-on experience for students, bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application in the film industry. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to learn directly from industry professionals and gain exposure to real film sets.
