Imagine sitting down for an interview, ready to discuss your work, only to be hit with a question that makes you storm out! That’s exactly what reportedly happened to controversial influencer Clavicular during a recent sit-down on the respected news program ’60 Minutes’.
The ‘Incel’ Question That Ended It All
According to reports, interviewer Adam Hegarty asked Clavicular a direct question: does he identify as an “incel”? This term, often associated with the online community of involuntary celibates, clearly struck a nerve. Clavicular’s immediate reaction was one of disbelief and frustration.
He reportedly responded, “Do I identify as an Incel? I mean, how could you ask me that question as a follow-up after you asked me about my relationships to women? I mean, that’s quite literally the worst sequence of questions I think I’ve ever heard.” The influencer felt the question was inappropriate, especially following discussions about his relationships.
Debating ‘Looksmaxxing’ and Its Origins
Hegarty then attempted to clarify, noting that “Looksmaxxing” – a term Clavicular apparently uses – was created by the incel community. This explanation didn’t sit well with Clavicular, who argued that he is not associated with that group. He defined looksmaxxing as self-improvement, aiming to move beyond such categories.
He countered that the goal of looksmaxxing is precisely to “disassociate from being an incel and overcome that,” suggesting the interviewer’s line of questioning didn’t make sense in that context.
Ties to Controversial Figures
The conversation then shifted to Clavicular’s associations with figures like Andrew Tate and other controversial personalities. Clavicular seemed to interpret this as an attempt to politicize the interview, remarking, “I see you want to make this political.” He then made a personal jab at the interviewer, referencing a hypothetical situation about infidelity.
When Hegarty pointed out he wasn’t married, Clavicular decided to end the interview. His parting words were, “So I could teach you about looksmaxxing, and then maybe you could switch that up. Thanks for the time, appreciate the interview.”
A History of Controversy
This incident adds to Clavicular’s history of making headlines. Last year, a video surfaced showing him, along with figures like Sneako and Andrew Tate, listening to Kanye West’s song “Heil Hitler” at a Miami club. This led to several venues banning the group.
Clavicular has also faced legal issues in 2026, including an arrest for allegedly using a fake ID (charges later dropped) and another for battery charges following an alleged altercation with his girlfriend and another woman.
What do you think about Clavicular’s reaction during the ’60 Minutes’ interview? Was the question fair, or did he have a right to walk out? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
