It seems there’s still some lingering hurt from the past for Khloé Kardashian. She’s recently pushed back against claims made by her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, in his new Netflix documentary, ‘Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.’
Hurtful Accusations Surface
On her ‘Khloé in Wonder Land’ podcast, the reality star revealed she was deeply wounded by remarks allegedly made by Odom and those close to him regarding their seven-year marriage. She expressed disbelief, recounting comments like, ‘You’re sitting on camera saying you married me for fame.’
Khloé admitted these statements made her feel foolish, as she once believed their relationship was built on genuine love. ‘You, your friends, you guys are all saying how you were with me just for fame,’ she shared. ‘That’s like some f–ked up s–t. I feel so dumb.’
Participation in the Documentary
The ‘Kardashians’ star clarified that her participation in the documentary was purely a favor, and she wasn’t compensated. She explained her initial reluctance and only agreed after receiving assurances that the project would portray Lamar in a positive light, given his past struggles.
‘I wanted to make sure this is a positive piece,’ Khloé stated. ‘He’s been through enough negative s–t.’ She also emphasized that she had no involvement in the post-production process and thus no control over the final cut.
Questioning Her Account
Adding to her distress, Khloé accused Odom of ‘claiming or insinuating that I’m a liar’ during his recent press tour. This stems from him questioning her version of events regarding her support for him following his 2015 overdose.
It’s clear that the fallout from the documentary and Odom’s subsequent press has reopened old wounds for Khloé, who feels her efforts and intentions are being misrepresented.
