Drake is proving once again why he’s a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Just 10 days after dropping his latest projects – “ICEMAN,” “HABIBTI,” and “MAID OF HONOUR” – the superstar has not only dominated the Billboard 200 but also shattered a significant chart record previously held by Morgan Wallen.
A Chart Takeover
The impact of Drake’s new releases has been immediate and immense. All three albums have claimed the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart, showcasing the massive anticipation and demand for his music. But the success doesn’t stop there. His new single, “Janice STFU,” has officially hit number one on the Hot 100.
This latest number one single is a monumental achievement, allowing Drake to surpass Michael Jackson for the most number one hits by a male solo artist. He’s now tied with Rihanna and Taylor Swift, each with 14 number ones, though still trailing Mariah Carey (19) and The Beatles (20).
Smashing Records and Dominating the Top 10
Beyond the number one spot, Drake’s chart prowess is further highlighted by his overwhelming presence in the Top 10. He now occupies an astonishing nine out of the ten spots on the Billboard Hot 100. This incredible feat breaks the previous record set by Morgan Wallen, who debuted 37 tracks on the charts simultaneously. Drake has now charted an astounding 42 songs at once!
With over 400 songs charted on the Hot 100 throughout his career, Drake has cemented his status as one of the world’s premier hitmakers. His ability to consistently produce chart-topping music is truly exceptional.
