Eddie Griffin Calls Drake “Sensitive” Over LeBron James Diss

Comedian Eddie Griffin isn’t holding back his thoughts on Drake’s latest musical endeavors, particularly the rapper’s decision to diss LeBron James on his new album, ‘ICEMAN.’ Griffin believes Drake is being overly sensitive and that this particular beef isn’t worth the energy.

Drake’s ‘Sensitive’ Move

Griffin recently shared his take on his YouTube show, NNN, where he didn’t mince words. He hasn’t even listened to ‘ICEMAN’ because he refuses to “buy garbage.” However, he’s heard about Drake’s diss track aimed at LeBron James, which apparently stems from the NBA legend showing support for Kendrick Lamar during their recent rap battle.

“The ice-melting man is said to have a song clowning LeBron James because LeBron James took a picture on the sidelines with Kendrick Lamar after he took a picture with Drake,” Griffin explained. “You’re so sensitive… He took a picture with your enemy. I didn’t know y’all was dating. That sounds like a b***h to me… You sensitive-a** motherfucker…”

The ‘ICEMAN’ Album and Its Fallout

The beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has been intense, with both artists releasing multiple diss tracks. LeBron James, a longtime friend of Drake, publicly supported Kendrick Lamar by attending his ‘Pop Out’ concert and sharing videos of himself enjoying Lamar’s song ‘Not Like Us.’ This move clearly didn’t sit well with Drake.

On ‘ICEMAN,’ Drake addresses the situation in tracks like ‘Make Them Remember,’ questioning LeBron’s loyalty. Lines like, “I shouldn’t even be shocked to see you in that arena / Because you always made your career off of switching teams up” and “I’m a real n***a and he’s not, it’s in my DNA” directly target the basketball superstar.

Griffin’s Advice to Drake

Griffin concluded his critique by advising Drake to step back. “It’s over, Drake. It’s over. Just take your owl a** and travel in the dark. Quietly. ‘Cause owls, they move quietly. You’re too loud to be a real owl…” The comedian seems to feel that Drake’s public persona and his reactions to this beef are too ostentatious.

Despite the diss tracks, LeBron James has previously expressed that he still wishes Drake well, stating last year, “Always wish him the best… Obviously, different places right now, currently. He’s doing his thing, I’m doing mine. But it’s always love, for sure.” This suggests that while Drake may be feeling sensitive, the friendship might not be entirely over.
