Is Hollywood about to welcome another power couple? Buzz is building around rising stars Chase Infiniti and Tyriq Withers, who have been spotted together quite a bit lately. From red carpets to exclusive parties, these two seem to be inseparable, leading many to wonder if there’s more than just friendship brewing.
Spotted Together During Awards Season
Chase Infiniti, who made waves last year with her roles in “One Battle After Another” and “The Testaments,” and Tyriq Withers, known for his part in “Reminders of Him,” have been frequent companions during the recent awards season. A source close to the 26-year-old Infiniti confirmed to PEOPLE that they are indeed dating and that Chase is enjoying this new chapter. “She’s in a really good place and enjoying herself like any young woman,” the friend shared.
Their public appearances together have raised eyebrows, especially after they were first seen in a selfie posted by none other than Kerry Washington during the NAACP Image Awards back in February. Washington playfully captioned the photo a “family reunion,” but it certainly got fans talking!
More Than Just Friends?
The sightings didn’t stop there. Throughout awards season, and even up to the Met Gala on May 4th, Chase and Tyriq have been photographed together closely. They attended a GQ after-party hosted by Damson Idris and were even seen together at an F1 race. Tyriq also showed his support for Chase at the premiere of her Hulu series, “The Testaments.”
Even before the confirmation, fans were already speculating online. When asked about their relationship status at the Oscars in March, Chase played coy, saying, “So? The internet is the internet. I don’t know.” She humorously credited Kerry Washington for bringing them together so frequently, alongside other friends like Miles Caton.

Interestingly, around the same time Chase was being coy, Tyriq told Cosmopolitan that he was “very much intimately single.” He expressed surprise at the idea of fame and dating, stating, “I don’t even view it as…it’s so mind-blowing to me that people have seen my work and, like, get excited about my work. I don’t even think I have fame. I don’t know, it’s weird.”
While they might not be “Instagram official” just yet, the evidence is mounting! It seems like Chase Infiniti and Tyriq Withers are enjoying getting to know each other, and we’re here for it. Perhaps we’ll see more official announcements soon!
