Joe Budden Asks Drake About ‘ICEMAN’ Diss

The anticipation for Drake’s upcoming album, ‘ICEMAN,’ is reaching a fever pitch, and it seems Joe Budden is feeling the heat! With the release date looming, the former rapper turned podcast host is playfully wondering if he’ll be the subject of any lyrical jabs from Drizzy.

A History of Rap Rivalry

Joe Budden and Drake have a long and complex history. While Drake once admired Budden, their relationship soured around the time of Drake’s ‘Views’ album, leading Budden to release several diss tracks targeting the Toronto rapper. Years later, Drake fired back with a scathing Instagram comment and has since delivered what many perceive as subliminal disses aimed at Budden.

Now, with ‘ICEMAN’ on the horizon, speculation is rampant about its content. Fans are eager to hear what Drake has in store, and Budden himself is curious if he’ll be on the receiving end of another lyrical attack. During a recent episode of the ‘Joe Budden Podcast,’ he posed the question to his co-hosts.

Hilarious Predictions and Speculation

The response from Budden’s co-hosts was reportedly a resounding “Yes!” adding to the comedic tension. There’s even speculation that one track might reference Budden’s infamous incident involving his neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera, where he was allegedly seen naked in his apartment hallway. The podcast crew jokingly suggested potential song titles like “6 AM In New Jersey” or “Naked In The Hallway.”

With the album set to drop on May 15th, Drake is masterfully building intrigue. There’s no cover art yet, no lead single, and very few hints about potential features. This calculated rollout is generating significant buzz, and the music world is waiting to see what surprises ‘ICEMAN’ holds, especially for those like Joe Budden who might be in Drake’s crosshairs.
