Megan Thee Stallion Fixes Homes for Seniors

Megan Thee Stallion is proving once again that her heart is as big as her talent! Her Pete & Thomas Foundation is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity for an incredible initiative: renovating over 30 homes for senior citizens in Houston and Dallas.

A Commitment to Seniors

This isn’t the first time Megan’s foundation has focused on our elders. They’ve previously launched programs like the Emergency Power Program to help seniors during natural disasters. Now, they’re expanding that commitment with essential home repairs through Habitat’s Aging in Place program.

These renovations will cover crucial fixes like new roofing, weatherproofing, and even installing ramps and mobility modifications to make homes safer and more accessible for elderly residents.

Community Involvement

The work kicks off on May 2nd in Houston’s South Park neighborhood – a date that’s extra special as it’s also Megan Thee Stallion Day in the city! But Meg isn’t doing it alone; she’s calling on her loyal fans, the “Hotties,” and Habitat volunteers to join in on community activities like painting, caulking, and landscaping.

Caring for our older adults has always been a priority for me and making sure their homes are safe and well-maintained is a critical part of that commitment. — Megan Thee Stallion

Megan emphasized that this initiative is about more than just fixing houses; it’s about showing love and providing peace of mind to the generations who paved the way. Adrienne Goolsby from Habitat for Humanity International highlighted the connection between safe housing and health outcomes, especially for older adults, calling the partnership a step towards housing and health equity.

Honoring Her Parents

The Pete & Thomas Foundation was established by Megan in 2022 as a way to honor her late parents, Joseph Pete Jr. and Holly Thomas. This project beautifully embodies the spirit of giving back and supporting the community she holds dear.
