Kenya Moore’s Hair Spa Closes Amid Legal Battle

Kenya Moore’s hair spa has officially closed, marking the end of a chapter for the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star. The closure comes after a protracted legal battle with her landlord over alleged unpaid rent. While Moore frames the move as a strategic decision to end the dispute, the situation has stirred up drama, particularly from her former rival, Brit Eady.

The Legal Battle and Eviction

On Friday, April 24th, Moore began moving out of her luxury establishment. Photos and footage circulating online showed salon furniture and equipment being placed on the curb, seemingly confirming rumors of her eviction. The legal troubles began in October 2025 when her landlord, Northland Chamblee LLC, filed a lawsuit alleging that Moore’s company, Moore Vision Media, had stopped paying rent and utilities in December 2024, just months after the salon’s grand opening.

In February 2026, a Georgia judge reportedly ordered Moore to pay nearly $88,000 in back rent and utilities, with payments split into two installments. Crucially, the order required her to continue paying $5,500 in monthly rent to retain possession of the property. However, when Moore allegedly missed the initial payment deadline, the landlord pursued immediate possession.

Moore’s Counterclaims and Future Outlook

Moore has countered the landlord’s claims, alleging that they failed to honor a contractual agreement to reimburse her for nearly $80,000 in tenant improvement funds. She insists she invested over $300,000 to transform the space into a luxury spa and believes she is the one owed money. “My only recourse was to withhold rent and file a countersuit,” Moore told TMZ, adding, “I already have my outfit laid out for court, chile!”

Despite the setback, Moore maintains a positive and forward-looking attitude. She addressed the salon’s closure on the official Kenya Moore Hair Spa Instagram page, thanking supporters and framing the situation as “the beginning of a new era.” She assured fans that this is not the end but a transition to what’s next.

Brit Eady’s Reaction and Quad Webb’s Warning

Adding to the drama, Brit Eady, who had a public falling out with Moore that led to Moore’s indefinite exit from “#RHOA,” gloated over the salon’s closure. Eady posted a video on Instagram showing her reacting to the boxes and furniture outside the salon, captioning it, “Never win when you play dirty,” quoting NeNe Leakes. While some congratulated Eady for her perceived “win,” Quad Webb from “Married To Medicine” weighed in with a warning.

Webb cautioned against celebrating others’ misfortunes: “This is NOT cool. I don’t like anything about it. Period. Let’s get to the facts first, but to smile, laugh, and giggle about someone’s hardships is definitely NOT cool. Trust me it’s amazing how fast those tables turn, and sometimes they spin. So let’s NOT show too much teeth; one day it might be you, and you could be in disbelief.” Even though Webb and Moore haven’t always been on the best terms, Webb recognized that mocking someone’s hardship is ill-advised.
