Kenya Moore’s Salon Evicted, Items on Street

Well, it seems like Kenya Moore’s “twirl” might be taking a detour through the streets of Atlanta. Reports are surfacing that the reality star’s Kenya Moore Hair Spa has been evicted, leaving salon equipment and products piled on the curb. Ouch!

A Sidewalk Spectacle

On April 24, 2026, the Kenya Moore Hair Spa, a venture reportedly costing over $300,000, became the subject of a dramatic eviction. Furniture, salon chairs, and boxes of hair products were left outside, creating an impromptu sidewalk sale. Sadly, it wasn’t just a display; eyewitnesses reported that people began taking items before a U-Haul eventually arrived to clear the scene.

Under Georgia law, property left on the sidewalk after an eviction is often considered abandoned, making it fair game. Reports indicate that thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was taken by passersby without payment.

The $88K Legal Battle

This wasn’t a sudden storm; it’s been brewing since late 2024. Court documents reveal that Kenya’s company, Moore Vision Media, was ordered by a judge in February to pay nearly $88,000 in back rent and utilities. The landlord claims rent stopped in December 2024, just six months after the spa’s grand opening.

Kenya’s defense? She claims she withheld rent because the landlord allegedly failed to reimburse her $80,000 for renovations she funded to transform the space into a luxury spa. It’s a classic landlord-tenant dispute, but with a very public reality TV twist.

Rival Captures the Downfall

Adding insult to injury, Kenya’s arch-rival, Brit Eady, who famously clashed with Moore on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, was there to document the scene. Brit posted a video to Instagram showing her driving past the salon as Kenya’s belongings sat on the street, captioning it with a jab about playing dirty.

Kenya’s Statement: ‘A New Era’

Despite the public spectacle, Kenya Moore is putting on a brave face. She released a statement framing the eviction as a strategic move. “My only recourse was to withhold rent and file a countersuit,” she told TMZ. “The salon chapter is closing, but it’s just the beginning of a new era. Stay tuned!”

A Troubled Venture?

The Kenya Moore Hair Spa has reportedly faced challenges since its launch. Rumors circulated that the salon was often closed or only opened for filming. Adding to the woes, reports surfaced earlier in 2026 that the business had been administratively dissolved by the state. With the build-out costs and the recent judgment, Kenya is reportedly facing a significant financial loss on this venture.

Is this the end of Kenya’s entrepreneurial journey, or will she find a way to bounce back? Only time will tell!
