The legal case surrounding singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, continues to deepen with disturbing new allegations. Following his arrest on April 16, 2026, in connection with the tragic death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, prosecutors have revealed further unsettling details.
Serious Charges and Disturbing Discoveries
Burke has been officially charged with murder, lewd and lascivious sexual acts with a person under 14, and mutilation of a human body. Investigators allege that the attack on Celeste involved a sharp instrument, leading to her death from multiple penetrating injuries. Her remains were discovered on September 8, 2025, inside a Tesla registered to Burke at a Los Angeles tow yard.
During a court hearing on April 22, 2026, prosecutors dropped another bombshell. According to TMZ, a search of Burke’s iPhone uncovered what they described as a “significant amount” of child pornography. It is currently unknown if this alleged material involves Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Allegations of Abuse and Murder
Prosecutors claim that Burke engaged in sexual relations with Celeste while she was underage. They allege that when the teen threatened to expose him, potentially jeopardizing his music career, he invited her to his Hollywood Hills home on April 23, 2025, where the alleged murder took place.
Further disturbing claims suggest that after Celeste’s death, Burke dismembered her body, placed the remains in two bags, and stored them in his car’s trunk for over four months as decomposition occurred.
Legal Proceedings and Defense Strategy
Burke has entered a plea of not guilty, indicating his intention to contest the charges. His defense team is reportedly pushing for an immediate preliminary hearing, urging prosecutors to present their full case without delay.
