Well, it looks like Ice Spice had enough of a fan getting too close for comfort! The Bronx-bred rapper found herself in an unexpected altercation at a Hollywood McDonald’s in Los Angeles, and footage of the incident has been making waves online. It all started when a fan approached her table while she was trying to enjoy a meal.
From Compliments to Confrontation
According to reports, the fan approached Ice Spice and her friend, attempting to sit down. When dismissed by the rapper, the fan allegedly slapped Ice Spice. But the ‘Deli’ artist wasn’t having it! She quickly got up, retaliated, and the situation escalated, spilling out into the street where phones were thrown and hands were thrown.
The fan involved, identified as Vayah, claimed she slapped Ice Spice because the rapper was rude while she was trying to give her a compliment, even calling her a ‘bitch.’ However, Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, stated that the attack was unprovoked and that legal action will be pursued against those responsible, including potentially holding the restaurant accountable for inadequate security.
Ice Spice’s Witty Response
Since the video went viral, Ice Spice herself has weighed in with her signature humor. She took to X (formerly Twitter) and jokingly posted, “this wouldn’t happen at Wendy’s.” Ironically, reports suggest Ice Spice was actually in LA to film a Wendy’s commercial at the time of the incident!
Social media users have largely been giving Ice Spice props for standing her ground and defending herself. It’s clear that while she’s a global music star, she’s not afraid to handle herself when necessary. The incident has certainly sparked a lot of conversation about fan interactions and personal boundaries.
