It seems like trouble continues to find its way around Kodak Black’s circle. This time, the mother of his eldest child, Jammiah Catera Broomfield, has found herself back in legal hot water.
Heavy Charges After Evading Police
Fort Lauderdale police arrested Broomfield this week on a serious list of charges, including drug trafficking. Jail records show she was booked into the Paul Rein Detention Facility facing charges for trafficking methamphetamine, resisting an officer without violence, driving with a suspended license, and a probation violation.
Adding to the complexity, Broomfield was already out on bond and awaiting trial for a previous grand theft charge when this latest incident occurred.
The Chase and Arrest
The situation escalated after detectives recognized Broomfield’s vehicle from a previous incident where it had allegedly fled from officers. When police attempted a traffic stop, Broomfield reportedly drove erratically in an attempt to escape.
The chase eventually turned into a foot pursuit when she abandoned her car and ran. Detectives apprehended her on Northwest 25th Way, near Dillard High School, and took her into custody.
Kodak Black Responds
Kodak Black himself took to Instagram to address the news, emphasizing his role as a co-parent. He shared screenshots showing he had recently sent Broomfield over $45,000, seemingly to prove he financially supports their child despite their personal relationship status.

As of now, Broomfield remains in custody. Records indicate she is being held on a warrant from Palm Beach County, suggesting she won’t be released anytime soon.
