Lil Pump to Flush 1017 Chain

It seems Lil Pump is looking for a way back into the spotlight, and he’s found it by inserting himself into the ongoing controversy between Gucci Mane and Pooh Shiesty. While his relevance in the music scene has waned, Pump is certainly making noise with his latest public statement.

Weighing In on the Gucci Mane/Pooh Shiesty Drama

The situation involves accusations that Pooh Shiesty, his father, and another associate robbed Gucci Mane at gunpoint. Following these allegations, Gucci Mane released a diss track titled “Crash Dummy,” which has drawn significant criticism. Lil Pump has now entered the fray, seemingly taking Pooh Shiesty’s side.

In a video, Pump didn’t hold back, calling Gucci Mane a “bozo” for allegedly “snitching” on Pooh Shiesty, and by extension, himself. This accusation of snitching is a serious one in hip-hop culture and has clearly struck a nerve with Lil Pump.

A Dramatic Declaration

To emphasize his stance, Lil Pump declared that he intends to take the 1017 chain he received—presumably a gift from Gucci Mane’s label—and flush it down the toilet. Given his current career trajectory, one might suggest pawning or reselling the chain could be a more practical move, but for Pump, the symbolic gesture seems to be the point.

This move is characteristic of Lil Pump’s recent public persona, which often involves outlandish behavior and attempts to generate attention, sometimes referred to as “rage bait.” His past actions, like targeting J. Cole, and his current online antics suggest a strong desire for relevance, even if it means embracing a troll-like image.

Clout Chasing or Genuine Grievance?

Whether Pump genuinely feels wronged or is simply seeking clout remains debatable. However, his lack of self-awareness in these situations has been a consistent theme. His attempts to emulate figures like 6ix9ine have largely fallen flat, but he continues to find ways to insert himself into trending hip-hop narratives. It’s a strategy that, for better or worse, keeps him in the conversation.
