A Partnership Built on Support
On March 27th, Morehouse student-athletes visited a local Zaxby’s location that serves the college community. Their goal was to express their thanks for the restaurant’s ongoing support throughout the academic year. This event highlighted the mutually beneficial relationship between the college and the fast-food franchise.
Morehouse Athletic Director Harold Ellis emphasized the impact of this support, stating, “Support like this makes a real difference for our student-athletes.” He further commended SJAC Food Groups, the company that owns the Zaxby’s franchise, for being tremendous partners. More Than Just Meals

By stepping in to help serve customers, the Morehouse team returned the favor, becoming teammates with the restaurant staff for the day.
An executive from SJAC Food Groups echoed the sentiment of partnership, stating, “ZAXBYS is proud to partner with Morehouse College, an institution rooted in excellence, leadership, and legacy.” The collaboration aims to foster student success, enhance campus life, and build community connections through shared experiences and good food.
