Meagan Good Rehomes Cat for Jonathan Majors’ Dogs

When blending lives, sometimes tough choices have to be made. Actress Meagan Good recently shared the difficult decision she faced: rehoming her beloved cat, Bam Bam, to make space for her husband Jonathan Majors’ three dogs. It was a sacrifice she made to ensure peace in their newly blended furry family.

A New Household Dynamic

Good revealed on Hoorae Media’s digital series ‘Picture This’ that after marrying Majors in March 2025, their home life became significantly more crowded. Majors brought two dogs into the relationship, and the couple later welcomed a third pup. While the dogs integrated well, Meagan’s cat, Bam Bam, struggled to adapt to the canine companions.

According to Good, Bam Bam became overwhelmed, exhibiting his distress by, unfortunately, using the couple’s bed as a litter box. For many pet lovers, the idea of parting with a cherished animal is unthinkable, and Good admitted she initially felt she couldn’t imagine life without Bam Bam.

Prioritizing Harmony: ‘I Chose The Man’

As the behavioral issues escalated and the bed became increasingly occupied by three dogs and a husband, the practicalities of keeping Bam Bam became unmanageable. Good ultimately had to choose between her pet’s comfort and the harmony of her new marriage. She candidly summarized the sacrifice, stating simply, ‘I chose the man.’

This decision comes at a time when the couple is navigating public scrutiny, particularly concerning Majors’ career following his 2023 assault conviction. His latest film project has also faced its own set of challenges, including labor disputes and safety concerns on set, adding another layer of complexity to their current situation.
