Concerns are rising for rapper OJ Da Juiceman following another health-related incident. The Atlanta-based artist reportedly fainted at a Georgia gas station on Thursday night, bringing renewed attention to his ongoing battle with Type 1 diabetes.
Health Scare at a Gas Station
According to sources, OJ Da Juiceman lost consciousness inside a QuikTrip in Decatur. Witnesses observed him appearing unsteady before collapsing near the cashier area. Thankfully, he has since regained consciousness and is reportedly recovering at home.
Insiders familiar with the situation attribute the episode to low blood sugar, a known complication of his Type 1 diabetes. There are also suggestions that his condition may have been worsened by inconsistent medical treatment during his recent incarceration, where he allegedly did not receive proper medication dosages for several weeks.
Recent Hospitalization and Legal Troubles
This latest incident follows a previous medical emergency on March 21, when the rapper was hospitalized due to diabetes-related issues. He was subsequently returned to DeKalb County Jail. OJ Da Juiceman had been arrested on March 10, facing multiple charges including allegedly threatening a state trooper with a firearm during a reckless driving incident.
He was released from jail on April 4 and still faces several pending felony and misdemeanor charges. Despite these significant health scares and ongoing legal challenges, sources close to the rapper indicate that he remains focused on his music, with plans for new projects and future performances.
