K. Michelle Slams RHOP Stars: ‘Couch Potato’ Jab!

Hold onto your hats, reality TV fans! Singer K. Michelle, who’s now joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is not mincing words when it comes to her feelings about The Real Housewives of Potomac stars Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant. She recently sat down with Jason Lee and let loose, reigniting a feud that started even before her RHOA casting was official.

The Spark: Comments on the Reasonably Shady Podcast

This whole situation kicked off when Robyn Dixon questioned the reports about K. Michelle joining RHOA on her podcast, Reasonably Shady. Robyn suggested that networks usually avoid casting people who have already been on other reality shows, implying that Atlanta was running out of options. Ouch! This comment clearly didn’t sit well with K. Michelle.

During her interview with Jason Lee, K. Michelle directly addressed Robyn’s remarks. She accused Robyn and Gizelle of trying to make her feel unwelcome and questioned the negativity coming from fellow Black women. “Do you know how disgusting it is to watch Black women [say], ‘She’s not supposed to be on there. She don’t fit?’” K. Michelle expressed, clearly hurt and frustrated by the comments.

The ‘Couch Potato’ Jab and Marriage Digs

When Jason Lee pressed her about whether she was specifically talking about Robyn, K. Michelle didn’t hold back. She doubled down, famously quipping, “Forget Robyn. She’s a couch potato. We don’t care about no Robyn Dixon.” The singer didn’t stop there, also taking a jab at Robyn’s marriage, adding, “She can’t even be content in the fact that her husband, or whatever he calls himself, don’t want her.”

K. Michelle also briefly mentioned Gizelle, referring to her as “the other one.” She firmly stated that neither of them had the right to question her place on RHOA. “You can’t talk to me about where I’m supposed to be,” she declared. “My accomplishments trump and lap all of ya’ll accomplishments.”

Defending Her RHOA Spot

It’s clear K. Michelle feels her career and accomplishments speak for themselves, and she’s not going to let comments from other reality stars diminish her shine. Her strong defense of her casting on RHOA highlights the competitive and sometimes contentious nature of the reality TV world, especially when different franchises intersect.
