Could it be a case of second chances? Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs have sent fans into a frenzy with rumors of a potential reunion, just two months after their reported split. The pair were spotted together at Cardi B’s “Little Miss Drama Tour” stop in Washington, D.C., sparking intense speculation.
A Night of Music and Reunion?
On Wednesday, April 8th, Diggs was seen enjoying Cardi B’s performance at the Capital One Arena. Videos shared on social media by his personal trainer, Clyde Simmons, showed the NFL player, along with his brother Trevon Diggs and their mother, Stephanie Diggs, dancing and enjoying the show. They even moved closer to the stage during Cardi B’s performance of “ErrTime.”
The reunion didn’t stop at the concert. Diggs and his family reportedly made their way to Cardi B’s afterparty at Throw Social later that night. Eyewitnesses saw Cardi B leaving the venue shortly after Diggs and his family. She then walked over to Diggs’ car, spoke with him, and got into the passenger seat before they drove off together, fueling reconciliation rumors.
Trust Issues and a Past Split
This rumored reconciliation comes just two months after the couple reportedly ended their relationship “a few days” before the 2026 Super Bowl. Sources at the time cited trust issues as the primary reason for the breakup. One insider told Us Weekly that Cardi B’s friends had been trying to show her that Diggs “is not right for her” and that she “deserved better.”
Another source speaking to People claimed that Cardi B “pulled back” from the relationship because she “couldn’t trust him.” The rapper, known for being “no-nonsense,” reportedly decided to focus on her children and music when trust became an issue. Cardi B and Stefon Diggs first sparked dating rumors in February 2025 and made their relationship Instagram-official a few months later. They welcomed a son together in November 2025.
