Offset Clarifies Lil Tjay Shooting Rumors

The hip-hop world was buzzing after a recent altercation between rappers Offset and Lil Tjay, which reportedly led to Offset being shot. Now, Offset is stepping forward to clear the air and address the swirling rumors, particularly those accusing Lil Tjay of being the shooter and Offset of snitching.

Offset’s Side of the Story

In a recent conversation with DJ Akademiks, Offset shed light on the incident that occurred at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida. While he confirmed he was shot in the leg and required hospitalization, he made one thing crystal clear: Lil Tjay was not the one who pulled the trigger.

Offset also vehemently denied any involvement in snitching or providing a statement to the police regarding the incident. This directly addresses Lil Tjay’s public accusation of Offset being a “rat” after the altercation. The former Migos rapper wants to distance himself from such claims.

What We Know (and Don’t Know)

While Offset has clarified his role and the identity of the shooter, many details surrounding the incident remain unclear. Reports suggest the altercation stemmed from a gambling dispute, with Tjay and his crew allegedly being the aggressors. Lil Tjay was reportedly charged with disorderly conduct and briefly detained.

Despite the ongoing investigation, Lil Tjay has been quite vocal, sharing his perspective with the media. His candidness has led some to question whether he’s made a misstep by being so open about the situation. This remains a developing story, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on any further updates.
