Quad Webb’s Ex Disputes Breakup Story

When a reality TV star talks about a breakup, you usually expect a certain narrative. But what happens when their ex-partner jumps into the comments section to set the record straight? That’s exactly what’s happening with ‘Married to Medicine’ star Quad Webb and her ex-boyfriend, Kirk King.

A Tale of Two Breakups?

The drama kicked off after Quad appeared on an interview with Carlos King, where she discussed the end of her relationship with Kirk. During their chat, Quad presented the split as mutual and expressed her focus on moving forward. It sounded like a clean break, right?

Well, Kirk King clearly didn’t get the memo that it was supposed to be a friendly parting. He quickly took to the comments section of a viral clip from the interview to dispute Quad’s version of events, making it clear he felt she was misrepresenting the situation.

Accusations of Control and PR Stunts

King didn’t hold back, writing, “Stop lying !!!” He asserted that he was the one who initiated the breakup and accused Quad of trying to manipulate public perception. “I asked to end the relationship and haven’t had a need to contact you!” he declared, adding, “Stop trying to make yourself look good!!!!!!”

He further criticized her public statements, calling them “curated interviews and PR stunts” that were “laughable.” King pointed out that these interviews often happen in a “controlled environment with your friends!” suggesting a lack of genuine objectivity.

Was It Really Mutual?

Kirk King was adamant that the breakup was far from amicable or mutual. He explicitly stated, “& no it wasn’t mutual or amicable. That was another performance & PR stunt.” This direct contradiction suggests a significant disconnect between Quad’s public portrayal and Kirk’s experience.

This isn’t the first time the breakup has been a topic of discussion. Quad had previously confirmed their split during the ‘Married to Medicine’ reunion. At the time, she indicated that King wouldn’t need to appear on the show to share his side, especially after castmate Toya Bush-Harris mentioned he had wanted to do so.

What do you think about Kirk King’s claims? Do you believe Quad Webb’s version of their breakup? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
