Kehlani Tells ICE Agents: ‘Delete My Music’

In a powerful statement, Grammy-winning artist Kehlani has drawn a firm line in the sand regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. The singer made it unequivocally clear that individuals working for ICE are not welcome in her fan base, going as far as to tell them to delete her music.

A Direct Message to ICE Agents

Kehlani took to her Instagram story to issue a public service announcement, directly addressing those employed by ICE. Her message was blunt: “Don’t ever fix your mouth to speak to me, or ask for a photo, or compliment me if you work for ICE,” she stated. She further emphasized her stance by saying, “I’m dead to u. Don’t acknowledge me and delete all my music.”

While Kehlani didn’t specify the exact incident that prompted this strong declaration, her position aligns with her long-standing history of activism. She has consistently used her platform to speak out against social injustices, making this latest statement a natural extension of her advocacy.

Standing Against Injustice

This isn’t the first time Kehlani has voiced her opposition to ICE. Back in February, while accepting Grammy awards for her hit song “Folded,” the singer wore an “ICE out” pin. She later revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that she had initially wanted the pin to say “F**k ICE” but opted for a slightly more subdued message for the red carpet.

During her Grammy acceptance speech, Kehlani passionately urged fellow artists to use their collective power to speak out against injustice. “Everyone is so powerful in this room. Together, we’re stronger in numbers to speak against all the injustice going on in the world right now,” she declared, concluding with a defiant, “And I’mma leave this and say, ‘F**k ICE.’”

Kehlani’s firm stance highlights the growing movement among artists and fans to hold institutions accountable and to use their voices for social change. Her message serves as a powerful reminder that art and activism can, and often do, go hand in hand.
