Claressa Shields Denies Papoose & Remy Ma Reunion Rumors

Claressa Shields, the undefeated boxing champion, is no stranger to confrontation, but this time it’s playing out off the boxing ring and in alleged Instagram DMs. Recent reports suggest Shields clapped back at a fan who claimed her partner, Papoose, reunited with his ex-partner, Remy Ma, at a recent Cardi B concert.

The Alleged Exchange

According to screenshots circulating online, a fan allegedly sent Shields footage of Remy Ma attending a Cardi B show. Papoose had also posted about the concert, leading the fan to troll Shields with claims that the former couple had linked up. Shields reportedly denied the allegations outright, with a rather blunt response.

The boxer allegedly stated that Papoose was with her at home, being intimate, during the time of the concert. She questioned the intense scrutiny surrounding Papoose’s social media activity and his connection to the event. It’s important to note that this exchange is based on alleged DMs, and Shields has not publicly confirmed or denied it on her own social media pages.

A History of Rumors

This isn’t the first time Shields has been drawn into rumors surrounding Papoose and Remy Ma’s relationship. She previously addressed claims that the former couple spent Christmas together. Both Papoose and Remy Ma have consistently denied cheating allegations that contributed to their separation in 2024.

• Papoose and Remy Ma met around 2004 and married over the phone in 2008 while Remy was incarcerated.
• They had a formal wedding ceremony eight years later.
• Cheating allegations reportedly led to their separation in 2024.
• Both Papoose and Remy Ma deny the cheating claims.

Shields herself has been the subject of relationship drama, including recent denials of cheating rumors with Maserati Bud. She recently retweeted a post about dismissing gossip, which could be interpreted as a general stance on the constant stream of rumors she faces.

As of now, none of the individuals involved have officially confirmed or denied the alleged DM exchange. Given the history of such rumors, it’s likely that any gossip surrounding them will continue to be met with denials unless concrete evidence emerges.
