It seems Pinky Cole’s debut on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ might be more dramatic than anticipated. The founder of Slutty Vegan is reportedly in a legal battle after creditors allegedly seized her Georgia home and changed the locks, just months after she filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Home Seized Amidst Bankruptcy Filing
According to reports, Cole claims that Guardian Asset Management seized her 6-bedroom home in Loganville, Georgia, after she filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this year. She asserts that the creditor placed a notice on the property and changed the locks, actions she believes were unwarranted.
Cole’s legal team reportedly tried to explain to Guardian Asset Management that her bankruptcy filing should pause any collection efforts. She argues that this seizure is causing her “extreme financial harm,” as she relies on renting out the property for income. A prospective tenant with a lease set to begin April 1st is reportedly waiting, but there’s been no response from the creditor.
Mounting Debts and Business Restructuring
This situation comes after Cole filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on March 2nd in Georgia. Court documents reveal significant debts, including approximately $1.2 million owed to the U.S. Small Business Administration for a COVID-era loan and nearly $192,000 to the Georgia Department of Revenue. Her total listed debt exceeds $1.3 million.
This isn’t the first financial hurdle Cole has faced recently. In early 2025, Slutty Vegan underwent an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors, a state-level alternative to bankruptcy. While she temporarily relinquished ownership, she bought back the brand and its intellectual property weeks later, addressing concerns by stating that restructuring is a normal part of business growth.
Addressing the Rumors
Cole has publicly addressed rumors surrounding her financial situation, including claims that she was evicted from her mansion. In a video, she humorously depicted what people might imagine happens after filing for bankruptcy, contrasting it with her reality. She also shared a spoof video about filing for Chapter 11, maintaining a confident demeanor.
