Get ready for some pink and green celebrations! Gizelle Bryant, the star of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” has some exciting family news to share. Her daughter, Adore, has officially joined the esteemed Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA).
A Sororal Legacy Continues
This isn’t the first time the Bryant family has celebrated an AKA induction. Adore’s twin sister, Angel, became a member of the sorority back in November 2025. Now, Adore is following in her sister’s footsteps, making it a true sororal legacy within the family.
Gizelle shared her immense pride and joy on Instagram, captioning a post, “So much PRIDE and JOY I’m screaming CONGRATULATIONS to @adorecbryant who is now my daughter, my SOROR.” She proudly announced Adore’s line name, Gamma Theta, signifying her as Gizelle’s legacy. The caption ended with a heartfelt, “I Love you Adore! Skee-Wee.”
Hampton University and Family Support
Adore, a sophomore at Hampton University (which happens to be Gizelle’s alma mater!), celebrated this significant milestone surrounded by her family. Photos showed Adore, her twin sister Angel, Gizelle, and even their grandmother on campus, all proudly displaying their pinkies in true AKA fashion.
Angel also took to Instagram Stories to welcome her sister into the sorority. She shared a video of Adore, writing, “WELKOME TO AKA LAND…I am so incredibly proud of you THEE MOST WANTED and the most deserving. I cannot wait to celebrate you my sister…twinny, and now soror. I love you forever and always.” It’s clear the sisterly bond is strong!
A Pink and Green Celebration
The celebrations extended beyond the campus yard. Gizelle went all out decorating Adore’s dorm room with a “Pink & Green Christmas” theme, complete with AKA balloons, pillows, and plenty of sorority paraphernalia. It was a vibrant display of family pride and tradition.
When Angel joined AKA in November 2025, both Gizelle and her ex-husband, Pastor Jamal Bryant, expressed their joy. Gizelle called Angel her “SOROR” and a “LEGACY,” while Jamal highlighted that Angel represented three generations of their family in the Divine Nine (D9) organizations. He expressed immense pride in the woman she was becoming.
