Hulu Drops ‘The Testaments’ First Look

Get ready to dive back into the chilling world of Gilead! Hulu has just blessed us with the first-look photos from “The Testaments,” the much-anticipated follow-up to the acclaimed “The Handmaid’s Tale.” If you thought you knew Gilead, think again – this new chapter is set to explore the dystopian theocracy from a fresh perspective.

A New Generation in Gilead

Based on Margaret Atwood’s award-winning novel, “The Testaments” picks up years after the events of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The story shifts focus to a new generation of young women who have grown up knowing nothing but Gilead’s oppressive regime. For them, the outside world is a distant memory or a whispered legend, their futures already dictated by arranged marriages and a life of servitude.

These young women find themselves navigating the dark realities of their world, seeking allies and desperately hoping to break free and discover the lives they truly deserve. The series promises to bring back the incomparable Ann Dowd as Aunt Lydia, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Chase Infiniti as Agnes, Lucy Halliday as Daisy, Rowan Blanchard as Shunammite, and Mattea Conforti as Becka, among others.
