Max B Announces ‘Coke Wave 3.5’ with French Montana

Get ready, hip-hop fans! Max B, the beloved Harlem MC, is officially making his musical comeback after his release from prison. And he’s not coming back alone – he’s teaming up with his longtime friend and collaborator, French Montana, for a project that’s already generating major buzz: ‘Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos’.

Completing the ‘Coke Wave’ Saga

This new project is particularly exciting because it seems to be filling a gap in their legendary ‘Coke Wave’ series. While they released ‘Coke Wave’ and ‘Coke Wave 2’ back in 2009, and ‘Coke Wave 4’ dropped in 2019, ‘Coke Wave 3’ never materialized. Now, with ‘Coke Wave 3.5,’ they’re doubling back to complete the narrative.

According to an announcement on Instagram, this presumed mixtape is slated for release on January 9, 2026. This means Max B and French Montana are set to kick off the new year with a bang, dropping what’s sure to be a highly anticipated addition to their collaborative catalog.

A Busy Return for Max B

Max B has wasted no time getting back into the music scene. He recently dropped his single “No More Tricks” to build anticipation for his post-prison career. While that single is part of his solo LP series, ‘Public Domain 07: The First Purge,’ the ‘Coke Wave 3.5’ project signifies a major collaborative effort.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music from Max B for a long time, and this collaboration with French Montana is a dream come true for many. With both artists able to support each other’s solo projects and reignite their collaborative chemistry, the possibilities for future music seem endless.

Navigating the Spotlight

Despite the excitement, Max B has also had to navigate some recent drama. Claims of him jumping Ja Rule at a concert were quickly denied by Ja Rule himself and others, with Max B urging people to leave him out of it. Thankfully, that situation cleared up swiftly, allowing him to focus on his music.

It’s been a busy and exciting period for the Harlem MC. The upcoming ‘Coke Wave 3.5’ promises to be another banger, showcasing the undeniable chemistry between Max B and French Montana. We can’t wait to hear what they’ve cooked up!
