Black Friday isn’t just about shopping; it’s also about stocking up on fresh tunes! This New Music Friday is dropping a lineup that’s sure to liven up your playlists and get your weekend started right. From established stars to rising artists, there’s plenty of new heat to discover.
Lil Baby Continues His Streak
Lil Baby is keeping the momentum going with his latest single, “Middle of the Summer.” This track is a continuation of his popular “Wham Wednesday” series, which has been consistently feeding fans since his January 2025 project, “Wham.” With “Middle of the Summer,” Baby seems to be leaning even closer into album mode, hinting that something special is on the horizon.
Fans can anticipate the unveiling of “The Leaks” on December 3rd, which is Baby’s 31st birthday. Given his steady stream of singles, it’s clear the Atlanta star is preparing a significant release for his loyal supporters.
Lil Uzi Vert Goes Independent
Lil Uzi Vert is back with “Chanel Boy,” a highly anticipated release that marks his first major drop since going independent. This move also sees him shifting to Roc Nation Distribution, following his departure from Atlantic Records, the label that played a significant role in shaping his career. While there’s no official word on Uzi’s next album, “Chanel Boy” offers a promising glimpse into the Philly star’s new direction.
YFN Lucci’s “Thankful Edition”
YFN Lucci continues to make his mark since his release from jail. On Tuesday, he unveiled “Already Legend, Thankful Edition.” This deluxe version of his September 2025 album, “Thankful Edition,” features the lead single “Tell Me.” The track is a collaboration that merges Atlanta and Detroit vibes, bringing together YFN Lucci, 42 Dugg, and Lil Baby.
